Add dancing on the cloud to your Indiana Wedding with Music Lifeline
Dancing on a cloud creates a magical first dance that you, your spouse, and your guests will remember forever. The beautiful low-lying clouds make it look like you’re floating, turning your special moment into a real-life fairytale.
It’s also perfect if you’re a little nervous about your first dance. The cloud effect helps create a stunning atmosphere that takes the focus off fancy footwork and puts it on the moment itself.
Photographers love it because it creates the ultimate “money shot” the breathtaking photo you’ll want to frame and display in your home for years to come.
If you’ve ever dreamed of feeling like a princess in a fairytale, dancing on a cloud with Music Lifeline DJ & Entertainment can make that dream come true.
What you and your photographer need to know about dancing on the cloud:
Power and Water Requirements
You will need access to sufficient power and water on the day of the event. Fortunately, we bring the water with us from home to avoid any complications. However, the machine will still require access to a hose connection.
Dry Ice vs. Fog
This effect uses dry ice, not traditional fog. It stays low to the ground and will not linger after the first dance. Think of it this way: using a high-powered low-lying fog machine might create a similar look at first, but it can quickly become too smoky. This can make it difficult for guests to breathe and may prevent your photographer from getting clear shots, such as during the father-daughter dance. Dry ice avoids these issues.
Warm-Up Time
The machine takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes to warm up, depending on the strength of the outlet being used. For planning purposes, we always assume the longer 1 hour and 15 minute warm-up time to ensure everything is ready for your “dancing on the clouds” moment.
Smoke Alarms
While it is possible for the effect to trigger a smoke alarm, it is very unlikely. We do not recommend having your first dance directly under a smoke detector. That said, this machine has been used at several venues and has never set off a smoke alarm in our experience.
Safety
Yes, it is very safe and recommended for indoor use. One thing to note is that dry ice prices have doubled in the last few years, which unfortunately affects the overall cost of providing this effect.
